Sales Engineer - High Purity Water - Peterborough, New Hampshire

Pure Flow sells, installs, and services high purity water systems throughout New England. From pretreatment systems to reverse osmosis, deionized water, and UV, we work with the industry's top equipment vendors including GE Water, AmeriWater, Ecowater, Aquafine, NeoTech Aqua Solutions, ResinTech, and Aries FilterWorks. Primary industries served include biotech, healthcare, dialysis, laboratory, semiconductor, and food & beverage.

The Sales Engineer is a technical sales position that serves as a company liaison for new and existing client relationships for the purpose of generating qualified sales opportunities and converting them into revenue growth. The Sales Engineer also shares their technical expertise with existing and potential customers to assist in identifying the ideal water treatment strategies and solutions for a specific application. This individual is directly responsible for the creation, development, and execution of their annual sales plan, and to assist in the development of sales strategies, procedures, and resources.

Lead generation and management of sales pipeline and customer relationships for system, equipment, and service contract sales.
Develop plans and strategies for developing business and achieving sales goals within identified markets of the water treatment industry.
Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities.
Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners to develop key relationships.
Prepare, present, and complete the sales quotation process through receipt of purchase order.
Represent the company at various community and/or business meetings to promote the company vision and mission.
Exceed customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction.
Provide management with regular reports on sales activity, prospects, customer issues, and sales strategies.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Engineering background and knowledge of water treatment processes, technologies and markets is preferred
Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and closing sales opportunities.
Knowledge of structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations.
Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting, while working both independently and in close collaboration with the internal team.
Willingness to maintain a flexible work schedule.
