Role Summary:
Incumbent will work with the software development team on Research and Development software, firmware, instrumentation and robotics projects centered on the RTS business unit.
Primary Role Responsibilities
1. Writing software engineering quality documentation; user requirements, design
requirements, unit tests, test scripts, test cases, test plans, and other validation
and qualification protocols.
2. Perform all types of software, firmware and instrumentation testing and when
defects are found, documents defect, troubleshoots defect cause and assists in
resolving defect. Lead, coordinate and support these testing efforts.
3. Implementation and maintain configuration management, software development
and testing tools.
4. Write and update software-related SOPs.
5. Work with technical services to resolve customer problems.
6. Write software manuals and help documents.
7. Work within the software IDE to author and review source code.
8. Write and test robotic scripts.
9. Serve as a core team member for new product development initiatives.
Primary Skills: Incumbent will work with the software development team on Research and Development software, firmware, instrumentation and robotics projects centered on the RTS business unit. Salary: Between 45,000 - 45,000 Experience Required: Some Experience, 2 years minimum Clearance Level: none Travel: 5 %
