We are looking for someone with the following experience and education:
BS in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
10 years minimum of aircraft, spacecraft or similar industry experience.
Computer Aided Design (CAD) and structural design (finite element analysis) of composite and metallic structures.
Material and Process Experience involving forming, machining, welding and heat treating of metallic structures.
Materials and process knowledge related to Composite Fabrication in high strength carbon composite structures utilizing filament winding and hand lay-pup methods.
Material Test Program Definition for acceptance and development of MIL-HDBK design.
Working knowledge of Aerospace Grade Quality Systems including MR and configuration control processes.
Good understanding of how programs, engineering, quality and manufacturing work cohesively in a small company environment in short cycle development, qualification and production build cycles.
