About the Opportunity: We offer state-of-the-art product that is designed and manufactured in our Twin Cities facility. Our engineering manager heads up a team of 18 engineers across mechanical and control design disciplines and participates on the company's executive management team.
Technical Leadership responsibilities include product safety, execution and communication of design concepts and leading the company in Continuous Improvement initiatives.
Management duties encompass establishment/implementation of engineering standards, supervision of engineering staff and staff accountability.
Staff Development and Leadership functions in the areas of staff selection and development of engineering staff.
Administrative tasks include controlling costs and schedules within engineering. Establishing departmental procedures and timely and accurate engineering releases.
Requirements:
We seek candidates with five plus years of engineering management experience in an engineered-to-order environment. Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline. PE license desirable. Minimum of seven years of machine design experience in an engineered to order environment.

MGS offers competitive compensation, a 4.5 day work week and full benefits.
