Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Supervisor provides leadership and support to improve production and operating performance in the critical areas of Health and Safety, Quality, Production, Cost, Service, Employee Engagement, and other People/Leadership objectives through the use of continuous improvement methodologies. As a Production Supervisor, you will lead a team of front line associates. We view this role as an excellent opportunity to begin your career. Provide leadership and supervision for their assigned production team. Effectively motivate, train and communicate with their assigned team to assure superior levels of safety, reliability, sanitation, and quality. Insure individual and team level of performance meets or exceeds goals and expectations.
Prepare and conduct daily team meetings as necessary for proper communications and development of teams. Must also have the ability to work with the Maintenance and Quality Assurance Staff and create a cooperative environment on their assigned shift.
Develop an intense knowledge of the production process and all associated equipment. Be able to analytically and systematically trouble shoot manufacturing issues and develop their team to be self directed in the same activities.
Be able to perform daily checks and reports to insure the highest quality of product produced within Good Manufacturing Practices as they apply to the production of Gatorade.
Gain an understanding of supply chain principles and the ability to apply the Key Performance Indicators in daily activities

Requirements:
Bachelors degree required, Engineering preferred
3+ years supervisory experience managing hourly employees using a team based approach required
Proven track record in driving change using continuous improvement methodologies (TPM, Lean, Six Sigma) preferred
Previous experience and food and/or CPG environment preferred
Effective coaching facilitation, presentation, team building and communication skills
Demonstrated people and leadership skills including conflict resolution, problem solving and performance management
