Electrical Engineer - Electrical/Instrumentation Maintenance II - Panama, Florida

Job Summary:
Responsibilities include maintenance of all Electrical and Instrumentation equipment in the facility. Interface with the operating areas to evaluate and provide resources to maintain reliability of E&I systems. Provide input into strategic planning to increase overall efficiency of E&I maintenance activities. This includes responsibility for E&I Supervisors, E&I Planners, Process Control Engineers, and IT technicians.
Responsibilities:
Safety (Safety Contact Team, Incident Investigations, MOSSIE, etc.)
· Coordinate and Prioritize maintenance functions provided by the E & I group.
· Employee Development (Training, Union Issues, Discipline, etc.).
1.Serves as the RSO (Radiation Safety Officer) for the mill. Ensures that all regulatory mandates are complied with on a timely basis.
2.Coordinates and implements NFPA 70E compliance and safety programs.
3.In charge of ensuring that annual relay coordination and testing is done on a timely basis and that potential issues are resolved.
4.Is expected to have a good understanding of the power distribution system for the whole mill. Develops and oversees any expansion strategies that may benefit or detract form the overall mill reliability.
5.Maintains and keeps track of the substation/transformers testing program. Monitors Furan levels on all critical systems and determines the next course of action.
6.Maintains and integrates the SOPs for all areas of the E/I team.
7.Develops ands maintains the training program necessary to be in compliance with all related regulatory agencies.
8.Develops and maintains the E/I related environmental programs and systems (fluorescent light bulb disposal, CEMS, etc.)
Education and Work Experience Required
Minimum Requirements:
· Bachelors degree in electrical engineering,
· 10 years experience in electrical/instrumentation maintenance and relevant supervisory experience - pulp and paper experience preferred. Primary Skills: Electrical instrumentation Engineer Management Salary: Between 90000 - 110,000 Experience Required: Experienced, 10 years minimum Clearance Level: none Travel: 0 %
