Our client is one of the largest global suppliers of technologically advanced aerospace and industrial products.
Currently seeking an Electronics Engineer to lead the design and development of high power electronics motor drive activities mainly for Aerospace applications.
The job entails producing requirements, design, analyses, experimentation, test planning and execution. Familiarity with high power, high frequency switching devices and their drive circuits. A strong emphasis on power magnetics design and analysis. Strong understanding of the different electric motors and their drives topologies. High fidelity circuit and system level simulation capability using state of the art simulation tools.
Candidate should have demonstrated a strong analytical strength as well as a solid hardware background with hands-on skills to utilize specialized hardware development tools and equipment.
REQUIREMENTS:
-BSEE or a MSEE
-5+ Years of experience in power electronics, electromagnetics design, motor drive technology.
-Power Magnetics experience required.
-Aerospace experience is a plus.
Primary Skills: The position requires a person with initiative, resourcefulness and teamwork traits and must have good written and oral communication and the willingness to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment. Salary: Between 55000 - 95000 Experience Required: Experienced, 5 years minimum Clearance Level: none Travel: 10 %
