Summary
Voice recognition company needs Software Engineers.
Seeking all levels (Senior, Lead, Principle) of Software Engineers to join their Voice Client team, writing VUI applications. These roles will be joining an established development team and be expected to contribute to all aspects of the software development lifecycle. This position will be responsible for working on a series of new and established initiatives focused on the organization's continued growth. Successful candidates will be able to adapt quickly to new technologies, work in a small team environment, and be able to plan and design new features integrated into a legacy code base. This position will be involved in numerous projects within the group and, depending on your experience, may be asked to lead the planning and design activities for the project.
The organization's tremendous growth has resulted in a need to expand the current team to support development of new features within existing products as well as plan and develop new product offerings. The coding is done in C++ so extensive C++ experience on handheld devices is a MUST! The ideal candidate will also have software development experience in mobile applications with an understanding of the constraints imposed on these applications (i.e.: life of battery).
Responsibilities
Core contributor in the software life cycle of our core product line.
Work with engineers in related disciplines to understand customers' needs and develop high-level software requirements and specifications.
Develop, debug, integrate, and support new product features and extensions to existing features.
Develop unit tests for new features.
Participate in the improvement of software life cycle processes.
Review designs and code of other engineers
Work closely with the Software Quality Assurance team to ensure quality objectives are met.
Required Skills

Ability to support field tests and interact with end-users and customers.
Education
BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline
Experience
2-15 years programming experience with at least 2+ years in C++.
Experience in the entire SDLC including: requirements analysis, design, release and customer support.
Development in embedded systems a plus.
Experience in WinCE development a plus.
